Beginner Devs Deserve Better Than This Content Trash
I have been annoyed by something for a long time but now I finally want to say it out loud: I hate software influencers who target beginners.
They pick software industry because it’s trendy, and they aim at beginners because that’s where the crowd is. More beginners = more clicks, more money, more followers.
They always sell something. A course, a newsletter, or just their personality. And that’s fine… except when the content is complete noise. I’m tired of the same “AI tools for X” or “every HTML input type you need to know” posts every single week.
This trend is not only misleading but also potentially harmful to those just starting in the industry. Beginners are bombarded with shallow content that prioritizes clicks over quality. This often results in an overwhelming amount of information that can be more confusing than helpful.
The real problem is that newcomers get caught up in this hype and lose sight of what really matters. They are trying to keep up with all these “Top 10” lists and “Essential Tools” posts, instead of focusing on building something. This is where the trouble starts. They jump from one shiny thing to another, never really mastering anything.
